This section describes the methods of managing and processing the personal data of the subjects (users or, in the singular, user) who consult and interact with the 4oncommunity platform, accessible electronically at the web address www.4oncommunity.com, in compliance with the obligations deriving from national and community legislation on the protection of personal data.

- TYPE OF DATA PROCESSED
The Personal Data processed by accessing 4oncommunity consist – depending on the user’s decision on how to use the Services offered by the Platform – by an identifier such as the name and surname, an identification number, an online identifier or data better described below.
The Personal Data collected is provided either voluntarily by the user or simply by analyzing user behavior on 4oncommunity.
The Personal Data processed through 4oncommunity are the following:
- Name, contact details and other Personal Data provided by the user
These are data entered voluntarily by the user, such as name, surname, professional title, professional domicile address and / or residence, e-mail address and / or telephone number, in the specific fields provided by this site (eg. registration form for account creation).
When using 4oncommunity, it is also possible to insert text messages and documents, such as video files, images, audio-video, as well as information present in the contents provided (such as metadata) or, again, other information visible by the board of experts, with whom it is possible to interact by opening the Ticket.
This information may also contain Special Categories of Personal Data, as defined in art. 9 of the GDPR (i.e. data suitable for revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, or trade union membership, genetic data, biometric data, data relating to health or sexual life or orientation sexual).
With regard to Personal Data referable to third parties, in compliance with the Terms and Conditions of Use to which express reference is made, the data entered by the user in the appropriate Ticketing form to consult the board of experts are anonymized and cannot be in any way attributable to an identified or identifiable person. The user who processes Personal Data referable to third parties will be considered the data controller, with direct assumption of all legal obligations and responsibilities, relieving Medica from any dispute, claim, request for compensation for damage from processing, etc. that it should come from third parties whose Personal Data have been processed through the use of the functions of 4oncommunity in violation of the applicable rules on the protection of personal data, with the express reservation of Medica to proceed with the immediate cancellation of such information where necessary.
In any case, if the user provides or otherwise processes Personal Data of third parties in the use of 4oncommunity, he guarantees from now – assuming all related responsibility – that this particular hypothesis of treatment is based on the consent of such interested third party or on another suitable legal basis that legitimizes the processing of the information in question.
- Navigation Data
The computer systems used to operate 4oncommunity acquire, during their normal operation, some Personal Data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This is information that is not collected to be associated with identified data subjects, but which by their very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified. This category of data includes the IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users who connect to 4oncommunity, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the operating system and the user’s computer environment. These data are used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of 4oncommunity and to check its correct functioning, to identify anomalies and / or abuses, and are deleted immediately after processing. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in the event of hypothetical computer crimes against the site or third parties: except for this possibility, the data on web contacts do not currently persist for more than thirty days.

- PURPOSE OF THE PROCESSING AND RELATIVE LEGAL BASIS
The Personal Data provided by the user are processed for the following purposes:
- a) Provision of the Services
Some processing activities of your Personal Data are necessary for Medica to provide the Services related to 4oncommunity, such as the registration for access to the services and / or content offered by this site and, in particular, the management of requests made by ‘user by accessing the appropriate Ticketing form on the platform, using the contact details provided by the user. To customize the functions and your experience of using 4oncommunity, as well as the contents shown, and to provide you with suggestions relating – by way of example – to topics that you may want to follow. As for the advertisements, necessary to allow us to support the platform, we specify that we use the information in our possession, including that relating to interests, actions and connections, to select and personalize advertisements, offers and other sponsored content to show you.
- b) Marketing
Medica, with the user’s consent, may carry out marketing activities, such as processing statistics and market research, sending invitations to prevention campaigns and communications relating to scientific information related to new therapies, clinical studies, etc. and, more generally, marketing communications and advertising by e-mail, telephone, relating to our activities and / or services.
- c) Compliance
The Personal Data provided by the user must be processed in accordance with the applicable legislation, which could result in their storage and communication to the Authorities for accounting, tax or other obligations. We may also process the aforementioned Personal Data to fulfill any legal obligations that require us to collect and / or further process certain types of Personal Data.
- d) Prevention of abuse or fraud

e)Statistics
Medica can carry out analysis and research on anonymized data for statistical purposes, without it being possible to trace the identity of the user. It should be noted that this processing is not performed on Personal Data and therefore can be freely carried out.
The provision of Personal Data with respect to the purposes referred to in this point 3, lett. a) and b) is optional and the user is free to revoke it at any time by contacting Medica at the addresses indicated in point 2 of this Notice, without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent given by the user before revocation. Failure to consent will make it impossible to receive the information requested by the interested party, to use the services offered by 4oncommunity, as well as to receive updates and communications and / or newsletters on Medica’s activities and services and any other communication and / or scientific information.
The provision of Personal Data with respect to the purposes referred to in this point 3, lett. c) is optional but any refusal will make it impossible for Medica to carry out the contractual commitments undertaken.
Personal Data is collected on the basis of the user’s explicit consent, which is embodied in the compilation of the appropriate request form.
For the sake of completeness, please note that the user has the right to withdraw their consent at any time.
- TARGETS AND CATEGORIES OF TARGETS OF PERSONAL DATA
The user’s personal data may be shared with the following subjects (or “targets”):

- subjects, bodies or authorities to whom it is mandatory to communicate your Personal Data for Compliance, Abuse / Fraud purposes, or by order of the authorities;
- commercial partners of 4oncommunity, to whom we will be able to communicate your Personal Data for their own marketing purposes, only with your express consent.
- METHOD OF DATA TREATMENT
The processing of Personal Data takes place using manual, computerized and telematic tools with logic strictly related to the purposes for which they were collected in compliance with the purpose limitation principle as well as all the other principles provided for by current legislation on the processing of personal data.
Medica, in compliance with the principles of integrity and confidentiality, adopted specific security measures to prevent data loss, illicit or incorrect use and unauthorized access.
- PERIOD OF CONSERVATION
The user’s data are kept by Medica for the period strictly necessary for the pursuit of the purposes for which they are processed, except for the longer time necessary to fulfill legal obligations, in compliance with applicable legislation.
More information about the data retention period and the criteria used to determine this period can be requested by contacting Medica at the addresses referred to in point 2 of this information.
In any case, the user will have the possibility to withdraw his consent to the processing of data at any time, as described above.
- RIGHTS OF THE INTERESTED PARTY
Pursuant to Articles 15 and following of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the user has the right to ask Medica at any time:
- access to their Personal Data;
- the correction and integration of their data;
- the cancellation of their data;
- the limitation of the processing of personal data in the cases provided for by art. 18 of the Regulation;
- the personal data provided to the owner in a structured and commonly used format, and to transmit them to different owners in the cases provided for by art. 20 of the Regulation;
- not be subjected to an automated decision-making process;
- to be informed in the event that their data suffers a serious violation;
- the withdrawal of consent to the processing at any time;
The user also has the right to object, in whole or in part, to the processing of personal data in the cases provided for by art. 21 of the aforementioned Regulation, as well as to lodge a complaint with a competent Supervisory Authority (Guarantor for the Protection of Personal Data) if the user believes that the processing of their Personal Data is contrary to the legislation in force.
- CHANGES AND UPDATES
This Privacy Policy is effective from July 31, 2020 and may be subject to periodic updates. Medica reserves the right to modify or simply update its content, in part or completely, also due to any changes in the applicable legislation and any update of 4oncommunity services. Any changes will be published at this address, notifying the user.
